Follow all your favourite news
What does ‘real-time’ mean?
Here, you can read news 24/7 exclusively from the news feeds, sources, topics or newsrooms that you personally follow. If you’re looking for specific information outside these feeds, you can do so via a search (at the top of the screen, or via direct access to the news outlet).
The content on the screen updates automatically, so you’re always up to date with the latest updates.
Scroll further down to read older posts as well.
To ensure easy readability, we’ve deliberately opted for a clear structure. Each item is displayed showing the source, a time stamp, the title, a photo (if available), the news feeds to which the article belongs (shown as a tag) and whether or not the item has duplicates (i.e. exact copies).
You can share any article in this list straight away (see #..) or save it for later. If you choose the latter, the item will be added to your ‘My Favourites’ section under ‘Saved Items’.
Direct access to a newsbrand
Tapping on the source takes you to the news outlet. Please note: this only works if the news outlet is included in your subscription package. If this is not the case, the link will not work.
Direct access to an article’s details
Tapping the title takes you to the article’s details.
Use the arrow in the top bar (or the ‘back’ button on your Android device) to return to the overview. In that same bar, you’ll find an indication of whether there are any duplicates, as well as the ‘share’ and ‘save for later’ functions.
Any photos, audio or video linked to the article can be found at the top. It doesn’t work everywhere, but where possible we try to have the audio or video clip start just before the section that’s relevant to you.
Scroll down for the actual content, source, the exact time stamp and information about the author. For an article that originally appeared in print, you’ll also see the newspaper or magazine layout below, followed by the various news feeds in which the article is featured. Scroll further down for more details on any duplicates and social media activity (if available).
Most of the above information is tappable, allowing you to explore items further.
