What is BelgaBox?
BelgaBox is a ‘digital toolbox’ for professional journalists. It provides them with a complete and richly documented multimedia news feed. Prepared by journalists for journalists and stuffed with practical tools like ‘Coming Up’, ‘Agenda’, ‘Today in History’, ‘Pictures’… and more.
This service is offered exclusively to registered professional journalists employed by the Belga media partners / stakeholders.
Registration
In order to sign up yourself on BelgaBox, you have to be an eligible employee of one of the following organisations:
- Belga News Agency
- Belga Correspondents
- BRF
- Concentra
- De Persgroep
- De Persgroep Nederland
- Grenzecho
- IPM Group
- Mediafin
- Mediahuis
- Medialaan
- Metro
- Rossel
- Roularta Media Group
- RTBF
- RTL
- Tecteo
- TV Brussel
- VRT
- Woestijnvis
It is mandatory to use your professional e-mail address, e.g. your.name@medialaan.be
If you want to sign up:
- on mobile: install one of our apps
- on desktop: go to our registration form and fill in the form
Your superuser will have to confirm by approving your registration. Once your registration has been approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Getting started
Login
Enter your username and password and click on LOGIN or hit ENTER on the keyboard to start with BelgaBox.
For safety reasons, your login can be used in 1 browser at the same time. If a colleague wants to use BelgaBox as well, he or she can register for an extra account. BelgaBox accounts are strictly personal: 1 account for each.
Forgot your password?
If you can’t remember you password:
- On mobile: open one of our apps and click on ‘forgot password’ on the login screen
- On desktop: use this procedure
After completing the form, you will receive an email with a link to a page where you can reset your password.
